Enforcement Software

Together with our technology partner, Innovis Solutions, we have developed purpose-built enforcement agent debt collection software, which is fully compliant with the Taking Control of Goods legislation. We have been continually improving the software over 15 years of it being used at Whyte & Co. Over the last few years we have started offering the software to local authorities that have an in-house enforcement team. Screenshot of our enforcement software

Many different debt types are supported by the software including Council Tax, Business Rates, Commercial Rent, Penalty Charges, Housing Benefit Overpayments and Sundry Debts. All debt types are included in the default package.

The software is hosted by us and accessible in a browser, which means that there is nothing that needs to be installed on your network and no need to worry about purchasing hardware.

We have years of experience in interfacing with other systems that local authorities typically use such a revenues systems (e.g. Academy, Northgate), parking systems (e.g. 3Sixty, Chipside), cash systems, external printing companies, outbound calling/text messaging systems and the DVLA. We have an integration tool called "ClientTalk", which we use to convert files to and from different formats supported by different systems (e.g. CSV, XML, fixed width).

Our software is built to be flexible and customisable and therefore is based around workflows for each debt type, which can easily be changed. We provide a stock set-up, in terms of suggested workflows and letter templates, which will allow you to get up and running very quickly and then that set-up can be tailored over time.

In addition to the main office system, our software includes modules for enforcement agents to process cases on their mobile devices; for your customers to view their debt information; and for your recovery team to keep track of their debts.

We offer free training and implementation and there is no additional charge if you collect debt on behalf of other local authorities. Our charging is based on the number of users and not the number of cases that you process.
